Are Batman and Superman Rivals?

•Usually they dont.•They are best buddies and contrary of many people who dont really know the characters they dont think that they have different means to reach their goals, because they do the same thing.•This was made just in the dark knight returns comics because of many years of stuff happening that put each other in opposite sides. (Injustice game is another history.)•In the movie they never had a real problem, it was a misunderstanding followed by the pseudo Lex Luthor jr trying to manipulate them.
